The Italian Lab is known for transforming outdoor spaces, with unique and exquisite designs that challenge the traditional concept of outdoor furniture. Featured in some of the most cutting edge open spaces around the world, The Italian Lab’s creations bring form, function and style together to transform any landscape design.
The Square 900 Bollard is one such design. Comprised of four 30/10 thick cold galvanised angle brackets, welded together and polyester powder coated to form a simple, yet incredibly strong bollard, perfect for minimalist streetscapes.
The bollards can be fixed by way of either flange-mounting with M8 bolts or by core mounting 25mm into concrete foundations.
Recently, The Italian Lab’s Square Bollards are currently being installed into the new Montague Park in South Melbourne. The 8000 square metre open green space is the equivalent to two and a half times the size of Melbourne’s City Square, and is designed to provide the growing Fishermans Bend community and adjacent South Melbourne Ferrars Street primary school, currently under construction, with much needed open space to support a healthy and active lifestyle.
The bollards line the curb along the hairpin corner adjacent to the park, providing safety for the park’s patrons from wayward traffic.
